Spencer decided it was time to come into this world at 9:21 AM on the 26th December, weighing in at a very healthy  8 lb 4 oz. A little tired after the 14 hour labor, but apart from that, one very healthy young chap.

Competition Results

Now that Spencer has arrived, the results of the competition can be announced:

His Name

Spencer William: Sorry, nobody (that wasn't told prior) guessed his name.

His Birthday

26th December: While nobody actually guessed the day, one of Spencer's Aunt's, Mandy, was the next closest at the 24th December.

His Weight

Lindsay was right on the money at 8 lb 4 oz (much to Libby's horror).

Libby's Bag

As it turns out some of the suggestions for what should be packed into the bag were quite useful, however if Libby were to pack again, she would probably include the following:

- 20 pairs of underpants (extra comfortable)

- 3 boxes of maternity pads

- 4 boxes of pain killers

- A large inflatable ring

- A spare set of boobs

Thanks to those that did respond, your contributions were valuable... especially the ear plugs (see below)

A few of you have responded with suggestions of what she should pack in her bag to take to Hospital. Here are some of those suggestions:

Bernard Suggests:

- bring Mark, making sure he is not driving

- bring an extra bottle of Aloe Vera, to rub on the tummy after the birth

- bring a big smile, ready for the first glimpse of your newborn's smile

Fran Suggests:

- I think you should pack a big black dildo!!!!!!!

Rebecca Suggests:

- Pack chocolate and diet coke

Jodie suggests:

- Large bottle of diet coke
- big bag of those heart chocolates
- vodka
- some ear plugs (what on earth for!)
